My client needed a very simple website that would allow his customers to quickly find his taxi services on the web and be able dial them for a ride with a tap of their fingertips. I created a responsive site for them with mobile first in mind, as most often people who need a taxi use their cell phones to call. We positioned the phone number in bright yellow on top of the page… underlined, as the web links are often recognized in this way. Immediately below we come directly to primary message for his customer – “Limousine Quality at a taxi price. We just ‘look’ expensive.” An easy short scroll further down the page shows photos of his beautiful car and short, to the point, descriptions of what his customers can expect from his rides that go above and beyond what other taxis have to offer. The footer holds full contact information, links to his limousine business, and social media buttons. The minimalized content is perfect for a taxi web site that will be most often viewed on a mobile phone. The web content can be easily expanded to hold more information such as a reservation system or a blog, should my client feel the need at a later date. Quick, easy, and effective.
